Canada's head coach, Bev Priestman, along with an assistant coach and an analyst, has been removed from the Olympics following an investigation into the use of a drone to spy on New Zealand's closed-door practice. Reports suggest this practice has been ongoing for several years, including during Canada's gold-winning campaign in 2021. Despite the controversy, Canada won their opening game 2-1 against New Zealand on Thursday.
