Churchill Downs Reinstates Trainer Bob Baffert (4-minute read)

Churchill Downs has lifted the suspension of trainer Bob Baffert. Banned for three years due to failed drug tests after Medina Spirit’s Kentucky Derby win in 2021. With Baffert accepting full responsibility for the positive test Churchill Downs has decided to move forward and repeal the additional two-year ban.

Despite the final score, the game was close with Cleveland scoring one run in the fifth before their big inning three frames later. San Diego struggled to hit the Guardians' bullpen, amassing just four hits and five total bases.
